Hello, I am currently using Relevanssi at its 3.1.8 version.

If I have a post called “Test News” and into the search box I type “test news” I get as result: “test news test news”.

The “test news” string is wrapped inside a <strong> tag with class “search-excerpt” and the whole tag is doubled.

This seems to replace the the_title(); function inside the search.php template.

I deactivated both the custom excerpt/snippet and search hit highlighting but this doesn’t seems to work.

Any ideas of what could be doing this?

The keyword seems to be highlighted also if present inside the header.

If I have a menu defined inside the header.php file and this menu cointains the “news” word, when I search “news test” I find the “news” string in the menu replaced with “news test”

My bad, the theme that I was using had a “highlight search result” function that created this mess.

    Sorry!
