    Site: http://fluidall.dkssystems.com/

Has anyone seen any issues of why the search box (#searchform) default text (Search this website) does not display in IE 9 / IE 8 / IE 7 browsers?

Also, can we round corners in IE 8 and IE 7?

    Thanks for any suggestions.

The search form seems to be using an attributed named placeholder, which isn't supported by Internet Explorer. For this fix, you'll need to edit the code within header.php. Have you got header.php within your Child Theme?

Also, can we round corners in IE 8 and IE 7?

    Certainly! Use this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ie-css3-support.

No, right now we are making css changes to the admin Custom CSS area.

    Is adding Child Theme easy?

    Thanks for the plugin link.

There are about 8 steps on the guidelines and some of them you don't have to follow, so yes, it's easy.
