Search bar @ the Top of my Blog, I need to get rid of it. How do I do this?

I finaaly found out how to make a simple blog,but, when I publish it it has a “Bar” at the top that has my: Name, Add New, Comments, Appearance and a Search. When this is live on the net and that bar is there it looks like anyone can change my blog and I don’t want that.

How can I get rid of this bar? I am very NEW to this,so,if I get any help from anyone can it be in newbie terms.
