    Hello

I used to blog using Windows Live Writer. I found out that it makes three copies of different sizes for every picture I insert into my blog. With time, the number of files become huge, and my host (Hostmonster) limits file count to 50.000 .
I need to delete those extra, never used pictures. The File Manager of Cpanel that my host uses is very basic, doesnt allow to search and perform bulk delete. I found no plugin at all that allows to manage the uploaded files and bulk delete specific files that meet a specific criteria.
I found an external script called AjaXplorer which claims be a file management tool, but after I installed it, I dont know where to go and how to display the files/folders under my host account.

So, how can I search for those files and perform a bulk delete, taking into consideration that they are spread across many folders inside my "uploads" dir.

    Thank you

That's not LiveWriter. It's WordPress' normal image uploading/thumb creation process.

There is a simple bulk delete option in the Media Library.

Thank you. That did not help me. Yet I found a way, through the FTP client I use, which is FlashFXP. It has a good search tool that can find the files whose names contain the criterias I looked for: 300x, 150x, x150, x300, etc.

Btw, why does WP generate these x300 and x150 images which are never used in the blog? and how can I disable it from doing so?
