Hey all.
I've had trouble with my search on my wordpress blog...
I currently use index.html as a splash page - only because I have a lot of content on my WP blog and can't be bothered moving it all to another directory(plus I'm afraid I'll accidentally do something wrong).
Anyway I've noticed that since putting in an index.html, whenever I try search for something in the search box it takes me back to the index.html page.
Is there a way around this or will I just have to delete my splash page/move the blog?:(

QUESTION... How do i set up a html splash page?
I have it working, but what do i link it to?
I've had it linked to various files including index.php
but its failing.

You might want to check your apache (or server) to make sure .php is first and .html is second in order of load.
=)
Hi there, if your splash screen is in html, just create a link to the directory where wordpress is located, it will automatically find the index.php page.
eg /wordpress/
hope you get there.
