Well, I was doing really good today. I went and updated the wordpress version for my wifes site (www.carriessweetlife.com) from 2.5.1 to 2.8.2. Didn’t lose anything, backups were fine, all rockstar. After a number of tweaks and such she found the links on the address bar of her personal site (www.carriessweetlife/sweetlife) all had http://www.carriessweetlife/sweetlife before where the link was supposed to actually route to. Such as http://www.carriessweetlife.com/sweetlife/www.carriessweetlife.com So while looking for this I was in the settings area of the admin section. Thinking it was an issue with the theme (dakutruus Jelly 2.7) pulling something and putting it in first before the actual code, I was looking at the URL and location stuff. That was all set to http://www.carriessweetlife.com/sweetlife.

Thinking it was one of those, because I do not do anything with this, I reset the second option, file locations to http: just to see if it would change, it didn’t. So then I changed the first one of the wordpress blog address from http://www.carriessweetlife.com/sweetlife to http: Which is sweet because now it seems I broke the damn thing. The main one works fine still but now I can’t get back into the admin side of the sweetlife side and the theme does not load so I know it’s not actually working and pulling data from the files.

I replaced all the wp-admin files but that didn’t get me anywhere so I don’t know where the change happened, if it’s in the database or a file elsewhere. I don’t suppose someone can tell me where I can look to quickly change it back?

ok, skip this one. I replaced all the files in the main folder, location of the thing. Ran through the install again, working fine, kept about all the settings still to. Swish.
