Screaming Frog Crawler not capturing meta informations

    hi,
    Thanks for this awesome plugin. I have been using the same plugin on every site I have. However on one particular site. After implementing all meta information (keywords, description) . I tested them using screaming frog. Test shows no keywords or description.

    I am wondering which side has problem, the plugin or screaming frog.the crawler was able to find meta description on other sites having the same plugin.

    weird problem. Can you help me?

    Can you provide the URL for a page or post that your testing tool reported issues for.

    hi,
    Wpsmort , Thanks for your reply… I resolved the issue. I contacted screaming frog, they were kind enough to reply very quickly, and they told me this can happen because of the html markup on my site. if the markup has too much errors , frog crawler wont be able to capture meta informations. So i checked using html validator and found out there were many errors. I corrected them and then the crawler started capturing meta information.
