   Hey guys,
   I did a very small edit of a functions.php file (remove a span tag) for a plugin and saved it in notepad. When I uploaded the file, the plugin will no longer read it and comes back with a fatal error.

   When I open the file in different text editors (notepad, wordpad, notepad plus, crimson editor), all of the code is either scrambled or on one line.

   Unfortunately, the plugin is no longer available to download so I'm unable to grab another functions.php file.

   Is there a way to fix this?
