Scheduled posts not posting since upgrade to 3.5 (5 posts)

I regularly schedule posts in advance for posting. I never had a problem with them posting on time until I upgraded to 3.5.

Anyone else having this problem and/or is this a known bug? Anyone have a fix for this?

    THANKS!

    Hi,

Are you still having trouble with scheduling posts for publishing? I haven't had any trouble since upgrading to version 3.5. It does not seem to be an issue with 3.5 and it isn't listed as one of the problems in the Troubleshooting WordPress 3.5 Master List. I would recommend checking that list out though; and possibly trying the recommendations there, specifically in the first post under the section that starts out with: And then make sure you've tried....

I am going to try the fix posted below. I am posting it just in case anyone else encounters the same problem as me.

There's seems to be two solutions (1) A plugin -

    (2) the cron file needs to be recon-figured.

Find missed schedule posts and it republish them correctly. Checking every 5 minutes all posts that match the problem, and fixed 5 items per session.

    Hi,

Were you able to first try the recommendations in the Troubleshooting WordPress 3.5 Master List, specifically where the post text begins with:

    • flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches.
    • deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem...

Scheduling posts hasn't been an issue since the upgrade and technically, you shouldn't need a plugin to schedule posts. Also check out the following post when this issue happened to another individual after upgrading to a prior version: Tags Schedule Post Problem After Update.

I hope those initial basic steps help solve your issue.
