Scheduled post time messed up (9 posts)

I live in Mountain Daylight Time. This is -6 from Greenwich Mean Time. On the options page, I have entered -6 as the "Times in the weblog should differ by:" field.

I have a post that was scheduled for publication on May 15,2007 at 05:55.

Right now it's 10:01 am and the article still hasn't published. The dashboard says it's scheduled to post in 4 hours (at about 2:00 MDT and 8:00 GMT).

I can't make any sense of this posting schedule or how to get it to work.

Since this has happened every time I've clicked "Publish" on a postdated post, I already know that I can go BACK to the post, click "Publish" again, and THEN it will show up.

Why doesn't the article load when it's scheduled?

Where is your server hosted. You would need to set the time offset for the time zone the server is in. Or maybe your host just got lazy and hasn't set the correct time on your server. And actually Mountain time is -7 from GMT.

Thanks, Jeremy. I'll check on that.

When I looked it up, it said Mountain DAYLIGHT time is -6 and Mountain STANDARD time is -7. Did I misread?

Just checked. Our server has the correct time posted. Any ideas?

BTW, articles that are published with a postdate, do not ever post to my site, unless I manually republish them.

    Any ideas?

Same thing here with a newly installed 2.5.

It seems this feature does not work. And, judging from the unanswered posts months ago, WordPress doesn't plan to fix it. That's understandable; it's a free tool, not something we're paying for.
