Scheduled Post as Event List???

    Is there a way to get a certain category of scheduled posts to show up as soon as they are made? So as to function as an upcoming events list?

    I am trying to figure out a way to future date things, and have something that will go get the next few events and post them in a sidebar. But I don’t know how to make a future time-stamp (like a future event) and have WP show it.

    Any ideas??

    When writing or edit a post on the right sidebar of the screen there is a section called timestamp. Just check the box that says edit timestamp and then type in the date you want it to show up.

    Thanks Jeremy,

    But I’d like the posts to show up IMMEDIATLY like normal, but have a future time-stamp. So then I can use the loop to list them in upcoming order.

    I don’t want to post an event for, say November 1 in september, only to have WP not post it until the day of the event.

    Is there a way to do something like this??
