Is there any particular reason why wp_cron can only have tasks scheduled for at most an hourly frequency?
I'm writing a plugin to sync twitter updates, and 5-10 minutes per update would be preferable.
I can see it would be a relatively easy change in wp-included/cron.php to add greater time resolution, but I'm curious as to the rationale behind the decision?
