Schedule Publication of a New Rev of an Existing Page (6 posts)

I use WordPress as a CMS for my company web site. Around 100 pages with a blog integrated into it.

I handle press releases as "pages" instead of "posts."

I can schedule a new release to go live overnight using the scheduled publication feature, but can't find a way to schedule the publication of existing pages that link TO the new release, like the home page and main news page.

The best I've come up with is creating a new version of the page with the links added, publish it, and then revert to the most recent version until I'm ready to go live...at which time I'd have to publish manually.

    Any ideas?

No ideas, but I'd like to know if there is a way to do this as well.

I schedule posts but when the post goes live I need to update all my cross references manually. Being able to schedule a page revision to coincide with the the scheduled post would be awesome.

Anyone know if the is possible? Or how to make it possible?

Yes! Yes! Yes! This would be a FABULOUS feature!!! (I don't see a way to do this at present, either -- and it would be really lovely to have this capability.)

    Yes please.

  5. You should add a feature request; scheduling page updates has been requested before, and it's also a feature I'd like to see.
