Scarlett Theme - Can't implement Post Thumbnails into Post Excerpts on Homepage (2 posts)

I've been trying to work a solution to this for a while. I am trying to insert post thumbnails into my website, much like this, beside my post excerpts on my homepage and search results page: http://i39.tinypic.com/35l56l1.png (screenshot from http://www.simplyshredded.com)

I'm currently using a fairly lightly edited version of the scarlett theme (as is simplyshredded), and I'm unsure how to approach this problem. I've implemented featured images on every single post, and installed timthumb, as well as adding code that was supposedly missing in the theme, that was made pre-2.9, in order to activate thumbnails to no avail. My website is http://www.muscleinsight.com, if you need to examine my site layout.

All help is greatly appreciated :)

Sorry but your chosen theme is not released under GPL. Non GPL products are not welcome in the WordPress community. Official WordPress policy states that all plugins and themes that are publicly released are required to adhere to http://wordpress.org/about/gpl/

Any support requests for non-GPL products are usually ignored, in the interests of supporting the community and its freedoms. As the Scarlett theme incorporates an encoded footer, I would strongly advise you to get rid of it asap. Encoded themes are nasty, often spammy, themes that can insert unwanted content into your site.
