Saving WPCF7_ContactForm Object to database

I want to create an email verification system.. so that a user has to confirm their email address before the form gets submitted.

I’m new to PHP and working with CF7. How could I save that object to the database, so that when the user does click that link, it gets retrieved and form submitted?
