Hey guys,
I just installed wordpress on my server (linux) and everytime I attempt to updating anything under wp-admin and save changes it results in a 500 error.
I've installed wordpress a lot of times and never had this happen.
Any help would be appreciated.
Most likely one of your files corrupted on installation. Try re-installing.
If you want to replace the files piecemeal, or that doesn't work, you could look for the error in your log files. You may need to configure that: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Configure_Error_Log
