    Hi

Sorry if this have been posted in some other forum, but I couldnt find any information about this.

We are thinking about building a new site in WordPress for one of our clients. After some discussion we talked about the possibility to save userdata (name, mail, streetaddress...) And how do you really do that?

As an example: There is an event about Gardening the 25th of August posted on the site and its free for all who are intressted, all you have to do is sign up and submit your name, e-mail and streetadress.

Then the user gets a confirmation by e-mail and the userdata is sent to the client. But how? I guess it also could be sent with an e-mail, but getting over 2 000 might be a pain, and how should you store the data for future events. Is it possible to export the userdata to XML or Excel or some sort?

Or do we need a diffrent system for this?

I'm maybe thinking about this the wrong way, So if anyone have some ideas or some experiance, please share.

I know this is not code related yet, But I first need to understand a good way to handle this stuff before I can even start to implement it.
