[resolved] "Save" causes 404 error (7 posts)

When editing already published article pressing "save" directs me out from dashboard to my homepage with "404" error.

Pressing "back" from browser returs to dashboard and with refesh I can see that the changes have been saved.

So the problems seems to be that the editing panel does not return to right place after pressing save.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I have to add that this only happens with editing published posts.

Creating new works just fine. Also if I edit draft or "not published" post/page.
So really only when editing and saving already published post/page.

i had the same problem with my articles. saving existing articles or sites lead to a 404 error.

a post at http://tamaspiros.co.uk offers a solution. at least for me :)

    Now my problems are fixed:

403 was caused by too tight security settings on the server -> fixed by service provider by adding exception rule to some security settings.

404 is also gone. I suppose that this ws fixed by moving the htaccess-file from wp dir to the root (public-html). Also changed the redirect lines to point to wp-dir.
