Save a draft as a page/post template? (6 posts)

Does anyone know of a hack or plugin that allows you to save a specifically formatted page as a template for repeated use? I use the same formatting and stylings for a particular kind of page on my portfolio site. Whenever I need to add something new to it, it takes a while to do all of the copy and pasting into the new page. Right now I am using a plugin that lets me duplicate posts and pages, but then I have to change all of the info to the new stuff. Its a work around...but I thought I'd ask if anyone knew of something dedicated to doing this.

That's not what I'm talking about. I'm familiar with different page templates (backend). I'm talking about the content on pages (frontend).

That doesn't really help Joy. I wouldn't have posted here looking for help without doing extensive searching. There are plugins that say they do what I need, but they don't or they aren't well maintained and updated plugins.

I thought it was a good list, that would change as people add more...
I found this one does what it sounds like you want.
