Safari/WebKit & updating plugins: kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork:302 (2 posts)

When using Safari or a WebKit nightly build, I often get a kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork:302 error when trying to update plugins. The plugin is not updated. (When updating the core, I get the same error, but the core does update.)

This makes it extremely inconvenient to update plugins, as there is no direct download link in WordPress.

you can get spurious kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork:302's with corrupt cookies.

try temporarily renaming your ~/Library/Cookies folder (while Safari is quit) to temporarily clear out your cookies and see if that improves things. you can rename it back (again when safari is quit) to restore all your cookies.
