I recently installed Sabre. I set it to enable confirmation by user. As I understand it, this should send an email to the address specified by the user, who must then reply to confirm. On testing the user receives no email from Sabre. I am using WP version 2.8.6. Is there something wrong with my WP settings?

Another plugin can cause the problem. You can try deactivating all the plugins but Sabre and see if you still have the same behaviour or if it solves the problem. Then, activate the other plugins one by one until you find the culprit.
