Hello world. We've been running a WP site for a while, and it's got lots of content. ABout 450 posts.
Thing is that it's running super slow. That's in using the admin panel, and accessing it on the web as a user. The site can be seen at http://www.labuzzblog.com.
Wondering if anyone can give us some performance tips on how to make it speedy. It just take too long to switch pages and admin the site.
Anyone who can offer some help would be greatly loved. Thanks.

It's not the slowest website i've seen by a mile, but it's not super fast either..

Thanksamillion.
We find that the admin panel is super slow to refresh, and the user performance is sluggish. Any thoughts on where to start the debug process?
I must say i find the admin slow to, and i've seen quite a few posts about it here (i mean in general).
Unfortunately i think that's mainly due to all the fancy JQuery menus and such, but unfortunately noone comments on why the admin section needs to be bogged down with it all.
I could be wrong, but i think half the issue is the over use of none essential clutter.
Overall site performance seems to be pretty consistent though for me, dependant on the amount of plugins and queries being run on each page...
The site i linked to has lots of general advice on how to speed page load times, that applies to any website, not just WordPress driven ones.
Run some other sites through the test, slower and faster ones, compare the results and you'll see where the biggest gains are quite easily...

Have a look at your theme and plugins. Your pages have an awful lot of JavaScript and CSS that has to load on every page - these should be in external files so they can be cached by the browser.
You are also calling JQuery twice, which is not needed and will be slowing the site down.
There are a couple of repeated meta tags too so it really looks like you should be cleaning up your theme.
