   I'm having a tough time installing Word Press. I am new to all this and have read through the documentation and tried to find an answer on this forum.

   When I go to http://www.mysite.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php, I have replaced the site's name with mysite, the Word Press Page shows up and asks for my Blog Title and Email. I enter the data then click the Install Word Press button.

   It gives me long page of Word Press Database Errors, WordPress database error: [Access denied for user 'BLANK'@'localhost' to database 'BLANK'], I have replaced the original names per this forum question with BLANK, then at the end it says Success! with an ID and Password. When I click on login button, it takes me back to http://www.mysite.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php page again.

   I am using Yahoo's Small Business to host my site. I used Filezilla to transfer all the Word Press files to one folder on my site. I created my database in another folder.

   Thank you so very much samboll. I followed the directions from your forum link and was able to set up the database properly. I was just able to get in to the Admin Menu in Word Press for the first time. Big Thanks!
