    Hi,

I guess that I'm missing something very obvious. I want to run custom php on a wp 3.1.3 enabled site. (Custom Community 1.7.1 theme)

I have made a custom table in my wp database and wish to display its contents on a page of the site – and later do some more snazzy column sorts, searches etc

I have inserted a static bit of html to show kind of what we're after.

I understand that I need to install a plugin – can anyone recommend something?

I have been trying a few all day – and i'm not getting any success even with the simplest echo statement.

    Going mad.....

The only plugin that I know that will do what you want is the Pods CMS Framework plugin.

It allows you to define your own table in the database and provides screens to add/edit the records in the table through the Admin screen.

I think you will need a custom template with the PHP code to retrieve and display the rows in your table, but PODS provides functions to help with this.

If you already have the means to add/edit the data, then a custom template is all you need to display it. This is probably too complex a problem for this forum. If you are interested, use this Contact Me form and I will try to help.
