run akismet for all allready approved comments

    I havent’t used akismet before and now i have about 13 000 comments and i guess that maybe 10-50 of them may be spam. I would like to instruct akismet to walk all comments again and let me know if he thinks that something is spam. Is there any way how can i do it?

    i have this same question. i just installed akismet and i’ve had my blog for a couple years now so ive got a ton of comments that are already approved and many of them are spam. is there a safe and easy way to have akismet check them? preferably one that doesnt actually use an HTTP request since php, my webserver, and fireforx all dont like long running scripts?

    im really not too excited about updating all the comment_approved fields to 0 and then running akismet and then changing all the non-spam back to 1…
