Hi,

I came across some posts related to this issue and I’ve been wondering if there’s an update on this.

I want my users to be able to create Events and invite people, but there are not bookings or tickets. They may create an event just for their birthday party.

Is there a plan to add this feature?

you can use event submission form and use shortcode [event_form] and then to disable bookings/registration you can add this in your theme style.css
```
div.event-form-bookings {
display: none;
}
```
and then remove <h4>Bookings/Registration</h4> on template file at templates/forms/event-editor.php
