Ok, i did update but dont get your point, again i have multiple IDs with the same name.. my modification was to remove id, and put class for that read more ID…

The id attribute specifies its element’s unique identifier (ID). [DOM]

The value must be unique amongst all the IDs in the element’s home subtree and must contain at least one character. The value must not contain any space characters.

which plugin template are you using or are you using the feed to post? if you want, just download this

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3132388/excerpt_functions.php

replace what’s on the server (in the inc folder, for the plugin) and there is now a class instead of an id

ok, will resplace it, i still love this plugin, but for now this is only problem im facing, i posted this just to inform or to see is there maybe default settings for that (because i didnt find it anywhere in options etc)… that would be great option. – just because of updates. so i dont need overwrite everytime i update.. But thanks for reply Allen

no, I changed the file on the WP server so future updates will have the class instead of the id.
