Anyone about the RSS widget? First, is there a way to not show any posts with the RSS widget? The drop down, "How many items would you like to display?" doesn't offer a "zero".
Also, I entered my RSS Feed from Feedburner in the top of the widget, "Enter the RSS feed URL here:" but the link keeps going to the blog page instead of the feedburner sign up page.
Why would you want to add an RSS widget to your site and then not show anything?
Of course not. I just want the main one to show. What's happening is it shows the name of the blog and then the "1" adds the first post. And, to top that off, none of the links even work even though I added the feedburner link into the right place.
I just want the main one to show
What "main one"? Yours? If so, don't use the RSS widget to pull your own feed into your site. It will severely impact on site performance.
I'm confused.....I'm trying to use it to get people to sign up for RSS and RSS via email with Feedburner account.
I have the code for the email but was using that widget for the RSS via Reader.

Just use a message . . . Sign up for RSS Email (or whatever) and your Feedburner link.

You can't use the RSS Widget for your Feedburner url. It's meant for displaying RSS feeds from other sites. Feedburner can provide you with markup for a signup form for your feed that you can add to your site via the Text Widget.
Yeah, that's what I did, kmessinger. Just wanted to use the RSS icon and had some problems but I'll keep working on it.
Thanks Esmi. I didn't realize that!!
Oh....also, Esmi, I couldn't find the feedburner code for the RSS Reader in my account. Only for the email. I'll look again.
I've got it all working now with RSS icon.
Thank you both for your help!
