Hello everyone,
I've recently set up my first blog using WordPress. So far, so good! I had some trouble with the RSS feeds, but the 1.5.1.2 upgrade fixed all that. I do have a question, however. I'm on a Mac running Tiger. When I view my blog using Safari, if I click the RSS icon in the location bar, I see the RSS feed and the posts are summarized (as I selected in WordPress options).
However, if I click the RSS link at the bottom of the page (I'm currently just using the standard Kubrick theme), the RSS feed shows the entire contents, including images, of each post.
Why is this? I noticed that the location bar URL is slightly different from the one when clicking the RSS at the bottom of the page.
The location bar URL is:
feed://www.jingba.com/?feed=atom
The bottom of the page:
feed://www.jingba.com/?feed=rss2
Perhaps this is all correct behavior??? I'm very new to WordPress. I much prefer the shorter, summarized text generated by the atom feed. Is there any way to set the link at the bottom of the page to also generate such a feed?
Thanks!
