Hi there, I just installed WordPress 2.8 and im using Dreamhost as my web host provider. I have been setting everything up and I noticed when I went to create my Feedburner ID that my RSS feed is not working. It gives me some kind of error and I have no idea what it means or even how to fix it. So any help would be awesome.

    My RSS feed is: http://www.kickthestereo.com/?feed=rss2

And, the error Firefox gives me is:

XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity
    Location: http://www.kickthestereo.com/?feed=rss2
    Line Number 613, Column 1:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    ^

And, if your using Internet Explorer 8 then it just shows the XML code. Nothing more.

Feedburner won't even take it unless this is fixed and no one will be able to use my RSS feeds. Thanks for any help.

Deactivate all plugins and try to check your feed. Some plugin might have an issue.

Rishi87, I tried your suggestion and it didn't work. My RSS feed is still giving me errors.

    Feedburner gives me this error:

The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Error on line 613: The processing instruction target matching "[xX][mM][lL]" is not allowed.

BTW, this feed link has been working for years. http://thedude.com. This seems to have broken with version 2.8.

    Is it possible to downgrade?

Oh! Nevermind, I found a fix and this may work for you as well piredude.

I went digging around the forums and found a link to a plugin called "Fix RSS Error" and it worked. It fixes the "[xX][mM][lL]" error.
