I keep getting told by someone on a blog cataloging site that my rss feeds aren't working. I tried to subscribe and it worked for me. I have an rss button and an Add To Any toolbar. Did I mess it up?

Hard to say. Have you tried validating it? http://validator.w3.org/feed/
Could you share a link to the feed with us?

    Oh, right. Whoops. :)

    The feed on feedburner is:

    feed://feeds.feedburner.com/valeriewriter.com.xml

The validator link said it was invalid. :(

    Your "real" feed is http://www.valeriewriter.com/feed/
    and validates nicely.
    http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http://www.valeriewriter.com/feed/

So, when you setup feedburner.com, what feed address did you give it? That appears to be where the issue is.

I just filled in my url and it generated a feed address for me. Should I cancel it and start over?

Go to feedburner.google.com and log in.
    Click on your feed.
At the top of the page, right below the feed title and right ablove the tabs (Analyze, Optimize, etc) click on "Edit Feed Details..."

Check the Original Feed URL there. If it isn't correct, fill it with http://www.valeriewriter.com/feed/ and then click "Save Feed Details."

    Hopefully that'll help.

    Cool!

I checked the validator and it said it was working. How do I know if people can successfully subscribe, though? Would you be willing to subscribe for two seconds just to make sure it works????? *big smile*

if it validates, it is "subscribable" :-)

    [edit]
(and by that, I was referring to your non-feedburner feed, not the one at feedburner).

I should add that I don't think you have the right feedburner address in your earlier post. That's not an error, it is a 404 not found page.
