My RSS Feed will not validate via Feedburner, Chrome or Safari but does display via Firefox.

    More info:

When I attempt to view my RSS feed, "http://joncobler.com/feed" I get varying results. Safari won't display, Chrome says that there is no style information yet Firefox displays it fine. When I attempt to burn the feed to feed burner it won't validate with error (The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Error on line 1: The entity name must immediately follow the '&' in the entity reference.) When I check it via feedvalidator.org, it says that it's good to go.

The feed worked fine previously, I believe the update to 3.0 changed things, but I'm not sure.

I host at 1and1. The wordpress files are in a subdirectory /domain/blog/ ... Any help appreciated.

    Hey Jon!

I have ran your feed through feed burner myself and it didn't work. I also tried Safari on Mac and it failed to load. I tried it on iPhone and it worked. I tried Firefox and it works! However when I check it with the feed validator, it passes the test, unlike mine. :(

All the same results as you.
    Incredibly strange.
Check out my thread. I am making an advanced wordpress blog for my church.

I just fixed it. Sooo frustrating. I've learnt my lesson. Anyway I better stop ranting. Let me know how it goes and I'll see if I can help. More details would be nice. Because I can't access your server to view your wordpress install, I can't really do all that much.

Please tell me how you guys fixed this error- I am getting the same validation error on line 1 of my feed:

    freebingoprizes.com/category/gaming-news/feed

I tried several feeds from my site an I got all the same errors, although when I try the built in feedburner validator it all looks ok except for a couple of yellow improvement suggestions- it validates.

Howe exactly did you correct this issue?
