RSS feed title help (5 posts)

Hey everyone, I'm a complete noob when it comes to RSS feeds, so bear with me.

I need a feed for just one category, which I'm calling with this URL: http://www.company.com/category/workers-compensation/feed/?post_type=blog

From what I understand, the anatomy of an RSS feed title is something like this: SiteName > Category

The issue is that I put the above URL into Google Reader and it only spits out "SiteName > " Like there isn't a category at all.

    Am I missing something?

Ah shoot, let me back up a second. We have 4 custom post types as well: blogs, articles, videos, tutorials. So if I wanted to pull a feed that was JUST blogs from ONLY the Workers' Comp category, would that URL I originally had be correct?

When I tried your suggestion, the category name did indeed come through, but it's not what I need unfortunately.

I don't think you can filter feeds by post type...

Yeah you can according to this ticket, and after a little more research I tried doing it this way: http://www.company.com/feed/?post_type=blog&cat=161 where cat=161 is the ID of the category stated above. This returns the exact same results as I've been having this whole time.

This isn't a huge issue, but we absorbed a very popular Workers' Comp blog and want to retain as many of the readers as possible through every form of media possible.

I would still appreciate as many suggestions as possible! Thanks!
