I few days ago I asked a question about adding a feed aggregator onto WordPress (thanks for the help by the way!). Well I have that working and I now have four feeds being pulled into my new blog successfully. However this has brought to light another problem with a diff blog of mine that I am pulling in that is also using wordpress. For some reason it is tricking the aggregator into thinking the same post is a new post because somehow the timestamp is getting changed on most of the posts. Therefore the posts are getting pulled in multiple times. I have not updated these posts however the timestamp seems to be getting screwed around with. Any thoughts to why this is happening?

I would just like to add to the voices on this problem...
I participate in two aggregating sites that list my posts along with other bloggers. On both sites, my posts show as being posted 7-8 hours before their actual posting time.
This corresponds to my GMT offset. (PST)
If I set my posts to follow GMT time with no offset then my posts appear correctly on the aggregating (even though the aggregator is using EST) site but they are 8 hours "ahead" on the original blog, and in RSS feeds (using an NewsRSSaggregating client program like Firefox or NetNewsWire).
I'm not sure what this is a problem with... but it seems to be an issue with how the RSS feed reports dates to other websites.

Same thing happens to me when my posts get aggregated by Philly Future. It bothers me because the front page of that site features a rolling aggregator, and my posts never show up there...
