Recently I moved from Blogger to WordPress and to make sure my feed in working properly I subscribed to it.

The problem is, I'm noticing that my posts are appearing twice in Google Reader: once right after I post it (couple of seconds later), and then again 6-7 hours later.
Your feed is invalid. Try:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
