RSS Feed Not Working... Sometimes? (3 posts)

    Hello All,

I'm having a strange problem with a blog I've created (www.thegreyshadesofgreen.com). The theme I'm using (Standard by 8BIT) has social network buttons at the top, and one is an RSS Feed link, which automatically uses the http://www.thegreyshadesofgreen.com/feed link. However, when I click the link the only thing that happens is that it downloads and Excel file to my desktop called feed.rss which contains a bunch of code and whatnot. However, if I use the RSS widget provided by Jetpack, and I click that link (which uses the same url) then it appears to work and the browser asks me which service I want to use for viewing. This makes no sense to me. Both buttons link to the same url, but they act differently.

Anyone have any help or suggestions? I want the buttons built into the template to work properly.

    Thanks in advance!

That link works in IE and FF and validates.

Weird because on my computer in Google Chrome and Firefox it downloads that excel file.
