    We upgraded to 2.9.2 from a pre 2.5 version (can't remember which) and now the RSS feed is not working properly. The feed is there, and it's valid, but it doesn't contain any posts, here's the xml

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <rss version="2.0"
    	xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/"
    	xmlns:wfw="http://wellformedweb.org/CommentAPI/"
    	xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"
    	xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom"
    	xmlns:sy="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/syndication/"
    	xmlns:slash="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/slash/"

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress 2.9.2?

    - increasing the available memory?
