• Hi.

My RSS-Feed is not working. I searched a lot about it in forums, but none of the provided solutions did help me. I’d like to have the feed of http://www.douzepoints.ch/feed, but do only get this:

This page contains the following errors:
error on line 7 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

Where can I change something to get the feed, what do I have to fix?

Would be great to have an answer. Best wishes, Tom.

  • Probably a bad theme or plugin. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thank you very much esmi! It worked.

Maybe for others interesting: Opening it in Google Chrome (never did it before) showed me exactly on which line the problem is. In fact, the theme caused problems. 3 entrys have been a video entry and in this category seems to be a problem (whatever the reason is).

Now it’s working. But one more question: The feed is showing me: “This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it.”

How can I add some style information?
