   Hello,

   I'm a bit of a layman and appreciate any help on fixing an RSS feed issue I'm having.

   I have been using the standard wordpress RSS widget to feed posts in specific categories to a box on specific pages. It was working well until today when I began getting the following error on some pages:

   "An error has occurred; the feed is probably down. Try again later."

   Or on other pages, new posts in those categories were simply not populating the widget.

   In both of these instances, the orange RSS icon links to an RSS feed that is populating correctly. The widget appears to be where the issue lies.

   I greatly appreciate any help and/or ideas!

   It's not a good idea to pull your own RSS feed into your own site. It can cause all kinds of load & performance problems.

   Thanks for your reply. Is there another way to have posts from certain categories only appear on certain pages? This was the only way I could figure out to have say all the posts under the "Algeria" category appear in a box on a page about Algeria.
