• I recently changed my WordPress site’s domain. I did a domain-level (with wildcard) 301 redirect of the old domain to the new. The switch worked well overall, but there’s one glitch I can’t figure out.

In my RSS feed, the description is still the name of my old site and the email address listed is my old email address (at the old domain). I can’t figure out where this is being pulled from, because I’ve changed all of the info in the WP Settings panel.

    Any ideas?

  • dear mr healthy skeptic. noobee here. Your post in a closed forum shed light on me and when I did it I was elated.
After not being able to login, I found your advice to go into my server side and go to my wp plugins file and rename it in order to deactivate them
seems a corrup plugin hijacked and ate my phps or something.
so now that I can log in, what in the world can I do to put them in a way that I can activate them one by one, since renaming the file will obviously (?) re instate the original prollem?
I am sorry for hiJacking this thread, but I have no other idea about how to communicate with you.
