Usually, when viewing a WordPress blog using Firefox one can click the RSS-feed icon in the browser's address bar to subscribe the blog posts. Sometimes there's even more than one feed option to subscribe to, for example the post-feed as well as the comment-feed. How can I get this functionality? I've searched the forum quite a bit but couldn't find an answer.

what you are describing is a result of what is called auto-discovery.
there's a few plugins that handle categories, etc.. seemlessly:

Although it provides a livebookmark option for comments (which is what I was looking for), the plugin also provides feeds for all the categories. I would like only two (right now there are about 10) livebookmark feed options, i.e. one for all posts and one for all comments. Can I disable the feeds for the categories? Or is there a more appropriate plugin?
