  • I’m getting the same or similar error on my website:
RSS Error:A feed could not be found at http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch_feeds?scoring=d&ie=utf-8&num=10&output=rss&partner=wordpress&q=link:http://naturalremediesforhepc.com/
    Can anyone help.

What I think I need to do is somehow locate my RSS feed and change the code to match my home page where I post all my posts. But I don’t know how to find it…

It’s your host, not your plugin. That feed is from google and some hosts have trouble with it.

Me three. Exact same (or similar) problem.

"RSS Error:A feed could not be found at http://. . ."

I just temporarily avoided putting RSS on my widget until I can get the problem fixed. The Google page comes up and the RSS feed gets attached to my Google home page, but it is empty. No actual feed is displayed.

My host is with fatcow.com. I have another website at fatcow that has no problems whatsoever, but it uses a different theme. Maybe it is a problem with the theme? Mine is Coraline 1.1.

If I type in http: // www . mysite . com / feed / the google page comes up offering me to either semd it to my Google Homepage or to Google Reader. I select, “Google Homepage.” It works but doesn’t display any feed. If I add that address into the RSS widget, that’s when I get the error.

I use Hostgator -I’ll give them a call and maybe they can help me with my RSS feed. Maybe they can help me fix it. It was working when I first put up my site about 3 weeks ago…then one day it wasn’t.
I’ll also try a different theme…first to see if maybe that will fix it. I did change it.
    thank you,

Right, if the URL works outside of WP, it’s the way your host lets feeds get imported that way. IIRC it’s CURL, and recently there was a server update that broke it for a lot of people.

It’s your server, not WP, and there’s a server patch for Apache (or … PHP, I forget which was stupid) and it’ll be resolved.

THANKFULLY this feed is not terribly needed for your site to run 🙂 Any decent analytics plugin will give you the same.

Thanks for all of your responses. I still don’t know what happened. But sometimes, you wait a day and look again, the problem is solved. I guess WordPress tweaked something because as I was preparing to report the issue to my host, I noticed all was back to normal. Back to blogging on Blackbiter.com!
