   We have a test blog at http://www.northlab.net/fusionpr

   My feed reader FeedDemon does not see the feed on this page, nor does feedvalidator.org (also tried Bloglines without success).

   Suggestions?

   You need to edit the theme (the footer.php specifically) to remove "feed:" from in front of the feedurl.

   You've run into one of the syndication bugs in 1.5. I'd recommend upgrading to the current version as soon as you can.

   Thanks much for the help, I tried your link above and it worked (does upgrading cause the correct url to be automatically generated?)

   Newer versions of WP now default to the ?feed style of links, but the underlying problem you're having with going straight to wp-rss2.php is a bug in the syndication feature (which was fixed).
