I would like to supply an RSS feed (and plain URL) based on multiple criteria (i.e. all posts from category x where year = 2010).
WordPress generates the category-only RSS feed for me at:
https://myblog.com/category/mycat/feed/
or a page of all 2010 posts at: https://myblog.com/2010/
but I want to extend this to limit the visible posts by published date AND category.
I would also like to know how to EXCLUDE a category (through a URL string) from an RSS feed.
I've read the article at: http://dailycupoftech.com/2007/07/25/creating-custom-wordpress-feeds/ but am still having issues.
https://myblog.ca/?cat=5,3 works to show posts from multiple categories but I also need the 'RSS feed URL' for this.
https://news.ok.ubc.ca/?cat=5&year=2010 does NOT work to show posts from one category for a specific year. I am redirected back to my main blog feed.
Help! Any suggestions appreciated.
