RSS Error Permission Denied using 2.8.3

    I am getting this error :

    RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Failed to connect to wordpress.org IP number 1: Permission denied

    I have updated to the latest 2.8.3 build

    this error is showing up on my dashboard and on the rss widget, that i am trying to install on the sidebar.

    Please Help.
