I have a slider on my blog, and since i put rotating tweets it’s causing some (minor) conflicts.

As you can see on this link,
the slider works, but the navigation panel bellow it (those circles bellow slider) are doubled. That is, there are four circles, but two slides on the slider. When Rotating Tweets plugin is active it always shows the double number of circles – for 4 slides, there are 8 circles etc. Also, it seems the slider is taking more time to load.

Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

It’s because the newswire theme loads its own version of jQueryCycle2 – a JavaScript version also used by Rotating Tweets.

I’ve adapted the development version of Rotating Tweets to detect and use the version built into the template.

Please let me know if it solves your problem!

I would like to ask one unrelated question, just for the info.

What kind of caching does this plugin use? I’m assuming there is some caching involved because some changes i make on the shortcode are not visible in real time, but only after certain period of time. Also, tweets are not really real-time connected with my twitter account. Sometimes they show up 15 or 30 minutes later on the site.
