   I wish to add rotating banner ads to my site (lets say from two sources). Is there a plugin/way to do so, while also keeping my cache on?

   Check the Supercache docs for the dynamic cached page functionality. It is possible to do what you want with this.

   This is good to know for some of my sites, although some of them are using w3 total cache (because their client does not wish to change the parmalinks)

   I will need to see what solution might be possible for that as well...

   W3 Total Cache also supports it using something called fragmented caching.
