Rollover image in IE

I just looked at my site in IE8 and it has one of the rollover images for the top navigation hovering over the bicycle/machines link on every page, apart from of course home, i really don`t see why it should do this, it shows the image for the hover state of the link.

I have tried taking the banner on the internal pages out, the banner links to homepage, but alas nothing. I have tried all manner of styling changes for the links, stoll nothing. The navigation uses rollover images set to display: hidden; Not sure if this is conflicting somehow. Everything else looks “passable” in IE except this one thing. When i put IE in legacy mode it doesnt show, but breaks my footer containers?? What gives? 😉
