Hello, I am new to wordpress and well my question is this. WP has been upgraded to the latest version and now some of my plugins do not work with it. Is there a way to rollback to a previous version of wordpress without killing my site (and getting the old plugins to work?)

I have searched and not found anything with roll back in the title. Help please.

There are hundreds of threads on this forum about backrolling and downgrading, but instead of using an outdated and possibly vulnerable version of WP I would strongly suggest to remove or replace the plugins that are not maintained.

    Hi,

You can download your desired wordpress version from here:

    http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/

You have to do manually installation of the wordpress.

    Thanks,

I changed the wording around and found threads but none with instructions (from the ones that I searched). But I will do what Gangleri suggests and get rid of the plugins that are not compatible with the new version of WP.
