   I want to switch to a one-column layout for my blog, but I also want to keep my sidebar widgets. My visitors use them pretty regularly. Is there any one-column theme that features a side-bar area at the top, or to the side, that you can mouse over and it'll roll out? I'd rather it be hidden the majority of the time.

   If this isn't possible, is there a way to have my sidebar displayed on a page that I can link to instead of being an actual side-bar? I'd want the information in my widgets accessible, but not as a sidebar.

   You can make a template that only shows a sidebar and then make a page with that template and link to it.

   Or you could use the Widgets on Pages pluign and simply add a shortcode to the page content. This way you would not need to write any PHP.
